We all knew that God made everything, but what about Him? Have you ever wondered where God came from? Who sent Him? Does He instantly appeared without any explanations? Did He once a child, where are His parents? Do you also wonder if He has a throne and does He always sitting on it? Do you think He has magical wand like what most of the magicians have in magical movies? Does He always keep an eye on us or He has some men to do the work? Does He teleport to the place He wants to go or does He just walk to get there? Does He get hungry then eat and does He get thirsty then drink? Does He smile or frown? Does He get tired and does He sleep? Does He watch movies or listen to music or does He plays sports? Does He smell awful then take a bath and does He change clothes? Does He get sick and does He get confused? What age does He look? Does He and Jesus talk or discuss things like most parents and their children do?

Just wondering and i really have no idea. It's very astonishing how He appears and has powers to do what He wants. There's no such thing as perfect in the humans but with God alone, He is so bright and very powerful that He made everything really perfect.

When i was about to write this stuff, i was wondering what should i write. Trapped in a confusion, I tried to ask my father what does he think is a good topic and he answered, 'LIFE'. I heaved a deep sigh because it's quite broad but i was delighted when i realized that it was a nice idea.

What is life really all about? Life to me is God's greatest gift to us and taking care of it, knowing the values of life and what you do with your life is your gift to Him. Life somehow stinks and offensive yet it is full of wonderful surprises. It is an adventure and most exhilarating at the same time. You may lose or win but how you deal with it and overcome trials depends on you.

Life is also about making choices. You choose what you want and a consequence will follow. The future is the product of the past. Your journey depends on you but sometimes you have no power to control over certain things.

There are times that you just can't understand some things and you're feeling like you're being blown up, it freaks you to the point where everything of you is almost drain. It's kind exhausted because things really aren't easy, it's like you're being pulled downward and you can't help yourself to rise up from drowning.

Adversities are just around the corner and sometimes it's moving closer to you. There are some bad things in your life that you never expected to happen. But no matter how hard life is, just bare with it, it's one of the things that life is made of. You just have the strength to face it boldly but i felt sorry for others who don't have the courage to be strong. Just don't allow yourself to despair, instead help yourself to see the meaning of your life that has been given to you. Your resilience, perseverance and trust will help you get through and armed yourself with intelligence, common sense, enthusiasm and faith.

We cannot deny that problems always exist, so we should prepare ourselves for the problems that may come our way and decide how will handle them. It is truly obnoxious how things go that way. But don't let that feeling of being offended turn into grudge, instead do something to make things better than the best.

Hush...You're Sleeping

Have you ever caught yourself unaware that you had just fallen asleep no matter how you tried to stop yourself but you just banged your head in the air? Who doesn't want to sleep anyway? Animals sleep even plants do. Everybody wants to sleep especially when you're tired and you want to relax your whole system.

Sleeping has always been one of my hobbies since i was a kid. It sounds and it feels very incomplete to me when I've only got less than 6 hours of sleep. There are times that i have to choose between sleep and eat but no matter how hungry i am i can't resist from sleeping.

According to HELPGUIDE, when you continuously don’t get the amount of sleep you need, you begin to pay for it in daytime drowsiness, trouble concentrating, irritability, increased risk of falls and accidents, and lower productivity.

Sleep benefits to our immune system, nervous system and development. Immune system - It doesn’t seem fair. Right when you are exhausted after a stressful move or a big project at work, you come down with a cold. That’s no accident - sleep is essential to the immune system. Without adequate sleep, the immune system becomes weak, and the body becomes more vulnerable to infection and disease.

Nervous system - Sleep is also a time of rest and repair to neurons. Neurons are the freeways of the nervous system that carry out both voluntary commands, like moving your arm, and involuntary commands, like breathing and digestive processes.

Hormone release - Many hormones, substances produced to trigger or regulate particular body functions, are timed to release during sleep or right before sleep. Growth hormones, for example, are released during sleep, vital to growing children but also for restorative processes like muscle repair.

How will you know if you are suffering from sleep deprivation? Sleep deprivation occurs when you are not sleeping the right amount for your individual needs. If you are falling asleep as soon as your head hits the pillow, regularly need an alarm clock to wake up, or feel the need for frequent naps during the day, it is very likely you are sleep deprived. Other signs are difficulty waking up in the morning, poor performance in school, on the job, or in sports, difficulty making decisions, difficulty making decisions, falling asleep during work or class and feeling especially moody or irritated. Sleep deprivation can be dangerous not only to you but others, since it affects motor skills like driving. Chronic sleep deprivation is also thought to cause long term changes to the body, which contribute to increased risk for obesity, diabetes and heart disease.

So, find time to sleep to make yourself useful during your waking hours.

You Let Go...You Hold On

I once received a text message like: "A girlfriend said to her boyfriend: 'I knew that you love someone else and i'll set you free if that'll make you happy.' The girl was crying when she left, the boy ran quickly to the girl, hugged her, kissed her hands and he said: 'Thank You.'"

It's awful isn't it? Letting go of someone you love especially when you have bonded together is very difficult, it would probably be one of the worst thing that would happen to you.

Letting go is a good thing, it means that you've decided to accept. It also means showing them how great is your love. It brings so much pain and loneliness and yet there's tranquility. Time will heal it, just wait, it might take you longer but it will do you good.

It's hard and you think you can't do it, you don't want to lose your grip and sometimes it's harmful to us. I've witnessed how some people hold on, it sometimes paid off but sometimes it's killing them. It's good to hold on but most of the times it's not healthy, it feels like your a monster in the midst of a disaster. Pretensions lying next to you, that you're still good, everything's in their right places when you know very well that the situation is 'bout to tear the relationship apart. It's bringing you trouble, it complicates things and somehow you'll realize that it's been awhile and still you could hardly make a decision and you want to wish that if only things aren't going this way. But pause for awhile, look back and try to discover what you've done that could've contributed to what's been going on.

Change is one of the constant things in the world. People change, everything changes and it's a matter of acceptance. You may love someone very much but still find a way to let go, make an effort and just always take care of yourself because who else will do and everything will follow.

At some point, you have to decide to move on, you've got to stop blaming the past for all miseries in the present. But who wants to endure that pain? No one but it's hard because sometimes there's no exemption. But if one day you'll find yourself hanging, would you let go or hold on?

Do you remember the last time you said 'Thank You'? Try to remember an event wherein you have received kindness from your fellow. Did someone give you something to eat when you're hungry. Did someone let you take his seat when you are standing on a bus? Or have you ever been answered politely from your inquiries?

I was in line in a grocery store, one afternoon, when an old man next to me asked a favor if he could insert between me and the woman before me. I granted his favor and he said 'Thank You' with a big smile in his face.

Many times in our daily lives, we encountered so many things and we are oblivious that there are plenty of things to be grateful. Sometimes problems arise and it feels so weary and it teases your day. There's always hope for everything. Take a pause for a moment, look around you, there so many things to be thankful and be happy about.

Let me share to you a story. I had a friend who's always complaining everytime his parents don't prepare a delicious meal. I was distracted by his attitude so i brought him to a neighbor's house and i let him witnessed the scarcity. Sometimes, they only have one meal a day yet you could not hear any complains from them, in fact, they always grateful for one meal a day is a blessing and that's probably what my friend should reflect.

And now let me share my own story. When i was younger, my mom used to bring me in a store. One time, i spotted a very beautiful pair of shoes, i really bugged her to buy it for me because i don't like to wear my old shoes anymore but she refused to buy it. I was very disappointed and i was crying when we left until we got home.

On the next day, i went with my mom again to visit her old friend, named Glenda. I found out that her left leg was amputated because of a car accident long time ago but she still wearing a true beautiful smile when we arrived. As i remember during that visit there was still gratitude and hope despite of her condition. I feel like I've been cheated because i never realized before that i can walk anytime i wish without a pair of shoes or even barefooted, while Glenda needs a wheelchair or even a person to carry her.

We are usually like this. There are so many times in our lives that we always forget to say Thank you for everything. God is so good that everyday in our lives He gives us blessings just like waking up from our deep sleep. Most of the times, we don't notice great things in life.

Try to think right now, I'm sure there are lots of things you are thankful for. Just bare in mind that expressing gratitude even to the smallest things could make a difference. I wonder why sometimes when we desire a thing we want it badly and immediately but we can't even appreciate for the things that we have.

If the only prayer you ever say in your life is 'thank you', it will be enough -Meister Eckhart-
(I got this title in one of the comics, and put down my thoughts).
